Julie founded Lomond to fill the gap most US employers fall into: big enough that people decisions are getting complicated, not yet ready to build a full in-house HR and legal function.
She has more than two decades in employment law and employee relations, supporting employers through high-risk situations including UK Employment Tribunal claims and US EEOC charges, complex dismissals, restructures and organizational change. Her work combines litigation experience with a strong operational HR background.
As a business owner in both the UK and the US, Julie knows the pressure of managing people, risk and cost at the same time. Her guidance is built for clarity, speed and decisions that hold up in practice.

Tony
Employment & administrative law attorney · Former Arizona Administrative Law Judge
Tony has sat on the other side of employment disputes. As an Administrative Law Judge with the Arizona Department of Economic Security, he ran impartial hearings, weighed evidence and issued binding decisions, so he knows how employment decisions are judged when challenged.
Before the bench he worked in civil litigation and at the Ventura County Public Defender's Office, including Veterans Treatment Court. He holds a Juris Doctor, a Master's in Dispute Resolution and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University, and served as a light infantry squad leader with the US Army's 10th Mountain Division.
When a client needs legal advice or representation, Tony is engaged separately as their attorney.

Victoria
Paralegal, employment law and civil matters
Victoria supports the team across employment law and wider civil matters. She built her experience at several leading UK law firms, working on complex matters to tight deadlines.
She is currently working toward US legal qualifications, which supports Lomond's work with employers operating across borders.
